    Hi y'all, The hood latch area on the hood of my '78 is rusted out and not making secure contact with the mechanism on the core support. I thought, FOR SURE, I found a weld-in replacement patch for that area on LMC or Brother's or somewhere. But now I can't find it anywhere. Anybody have an idea...

    Thanks everybody for the input! I found a set on craigslist for a "reasonable" price. 16" with a larger hub hole than needed. Should work out alright.

    good eye! You're right. The main leaf is broken, which is why it was parked back in '93. It's not going anywhere under its own power until that get's fixed.

    Hi all, I just picked up my first quarebody yesterday. A 1978 C30 with 454 and 4-on-the-floor. It needs a bit of work but i'm excited. I'm sure i'll need a lot of help from you all.
