You should've the valley when the intake was pulled. Its looked like someone put a hugh pile of black mud in there. It was covered all over the valley except where the pushrods are.- davbell22602

From the bringing of this repair we had to replace valve cover gaskets and intake gasket. The female chick decided she wanted to take all pushrods out and clean them. Its her car anyways.- davbell22602

These cant be adjusted when running. You have to take the pendulm apart to remove the valve covers.- davbell22602

Gotta take it all apart. Another student adjusted the rock arm nuts and the teacher checked his work. He went by what all data said to do it. It has loud lifter noise.- davbell22602

Had to remove the intake also cause it was leaking also. I'm only seeing 2 pieces. Top and bottom pendelm. Unless the fuel rail is the 3rd piece. The engine is back together except the fuel adapter that goes on the fuel rail.- davbell22602

Yes it leaks around where it attaches to the fuel rail. My fellow student in class bought paper gasket maker but my teacher said wont hold up like the actual gasket thats supposed to be used cause of it being around fuel.- davbell22602

Yep its 2 piece manifold. The fuel rail w/injectors mounts in the bottom section of the manifold. Then 2 fuel lines go into bracket that bolts on top in the back of the fuel rail. Here's pic- davbell22602

So much for going by a torque spec on the header bolts. The 2 bolts used a torque wrench on came loose as the others are still good and tight. The others I just turned the wrench til I couldnt turn it anymore probably like 50ft pounds. The gibson said to torque them to 30 ft pounds.- davbell22602
