    You are stoked you have 4.56 gears. I am spending $4100 to have my gear ratio changed from 3.07 to 4.56. It's for both the front and rear axles.

    There is not a lot of information regarding VSS in a 4x4. Definitely makes an LS swap more difficult.

    I hope the latches work better than the ones I purchased from LMC, I ended up installing the original latches back in. The LMC latches had small spring in them that almost fallout immediately.

    Really tight front brakes!

    I would replace the front rubber brake lines and replace or rebuild both front brake calipers. Have rotors machined, if there is enough material or replace them, add new pads and be done with it.

    Hopefully with the air purged, you are good to go. I differently like the feel of the hydroboost versus vacuum.

    I think it depends on your build, trying to keep everything original would be nice and tends to not create problems done the road. Please post photos of what you end up with.

    Dropped my Blazer off at the Rear End shop after spending the last two years doing a frame off restoration including LS swap and new trans. The rear end gears 3.07 were way too tall after putting 33" tires and a 4L60E transmission. Can't wait to get her back.

    I installed a hydroboost on my 1973 K5 Blazer while doing a LS swap. First I jacked up the front end and with the motor running, went lock to lock about 10 times.That purged a majority of the air.

    I installed new springs and my Blazer sags on the driver side. I thought about switching the leafs and seeing if the sag moves to the other side.

    1985 K2500 Build/LS Swap

    Does your transfer case have a VSS? I did a swap on my 1973 4x4 Blazer and I had an issue with the speed sensor. I installed a NP208 transfer case and I needed an electrical speed sensor to talk with the terminator max ECU I installed.

    Where does this dash part go?

    You are correct, it's the bracket that goes to the dash from the pedal box support on the passenger side of the steering wheel column. Unfortunately, all that would need to come out to install that piece. That's not going to happen at this point so Ricko66 is correct. Thanks!
