Front axle off set to passenger side
Not trying to be a smart***, but you possibly have a case of tunnel vision. The issues may not be related but you’re fixated on the axles. Vibration and pull could be an out of round or out of balance wheel and/or tire, or a broken belt. Check air pressure and rotate the tires. Simple, cheap...- Flatwater

Legality of rolling back an odometer
My 2020 Peterbilt had to have the speedo replaced under warranty. The new unit had a zero’d odometer, but the dealer put an affidavit sticker in the door jamb stating EMC mileage, like you mentioned.- Flatwater

Scored another square today…
Asked a neighbor kid if he wanted to trade my aluminum wheels for his factory steelies and hubcaps. Ended up buying the whole thing for $500. 350, auto, 4x4, A/C, cruise. Runs, drives. Figured I could scavenge parts for my ‘77 and my boy’s ‘79 and still come out ahead on parting out the rest. -

The pickup is going to see just general putt around, hunting buggy, trips to the dump, etc. Won’t see super high-speed highway miles. I’m trying to take it back to original(ish). Tire size question…
I had plans of getting STA Super Traxion L78 tires for my ‘77, but they are on back order until August, per Coker. I also considered 33x10.5r15 BFGs, but they, too, seem to be made of unobtainium. What other options would you recommend for a K10? I prefer skinny-ish, but wouldn’t mind a bit...- Flatwater

For his pickup, he mounted a set of generic parts house lights. For mine, I picked up a set of Truck Lite 1313A’s. I’ll probably end up building harnesses for both. I like that pic, though. Shows good mounting orientation.- Flatwater

Has anyone ever gone back from a single DIN to a shaft style radio? I would think it would be doable with with either donor dash metal or a new weld in piece.
