    Bonnie is a little nekkid…

The boy started peeling back layers of carpet and padding to tend to some rust. It’s a little more than he expected…

Front axle off set to passenger side

Not trying to be a smart***, but you possibly have a case of tunnel vision. The issues may not be related but you’re fixated on the axles. Vibration and pull could be an out of round or out of balance wheel and/or tire, or a broken belt. Check air pressure and rotate the tires. Simple, cheap...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the wifey-poo to ride in the ‘77 for the first time this evening! She didn’t hate it, so that must means she like it, right???

Legality of rolling back an odometer

My 2020 Peterbilt had to have the speedo replaced under warranty. The new unit had a zero’d odometer, but the dealer put an affidavit sticker in the door jamb stating EMC mileage, like you mentioned.

    Scored another square today…

Asked a neighbor kid if he wanted to trade my aluminum wheels for his factory steelies and hubcaps. Ended up buying the whole thing for $500. 350, auto, 4x4, A/C, cruise. Runs, drives. Figured I could scavenge parts for my ‘77 and my boy’s ‘79 and still come out ahead on parting out the rest.

    Tire size question…

Some guys were lamenting on a Land Cruiser forum I stumbled across that BFG dropped their venerated old 33x9.5. One of the guys mentioned the Kendas.

    Tire size question…

The pickup is going to see just general putt around, hunting buggy, trips to the dump, etc. Won’t see super high-speed highway miles. I’m trying to take it back to original(ish). Not a restoration, just a clean, factory look all around. I’m a fan of tall/skinny, but don’t really want to get...

    Found this on Classic Olds.

My ‘65 Galaxie had an 8-track on player. Mom and Dad let my dig thru their stash for some tunes.

    Tire size question…

I had plans of getting STA Super Traxion L78 tires for my ‘77, but they are on back order until August, per Coker. I also considered 33x10.5r15 BFGs, but they, too, seem to be made of unobtainium. What other options would you recommend for a K10? I prefer skinny-ish, but wouldn’t mind a bit...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got it running! It kinda died on me a month or so ago, haven’t had a lot of time or ambition (-40 below wind chills will do that to a fella…) to tinker lately. But the boy and I worked on the Peterbilt this morning and decided to get the ‘77 out of the snowbank. It quit getting fuel, so we...

    Marker Light Question…

This is exactly what I needed! I received a set of 1313A’s this week, I’ll work on the layout now. Thanks!

    Marker Light Question…

For his pickup, he mounted a set of generic parts house lights. For mine, I picked up a set of Truck Lite 1313A’s. I’ll probably end up building harnesses for both. I like that pic, though. Shows good mounting orientation.

    Single DIN to shaft style?

Has anyone ever gone back from a single DIN to a shaft style radio? I would think it would be doable with with either donor dash metal or a new weld in piece. My ‘77 is cut, my son’s ‘79 is not, but he wants it to be. I’m not doing a full restore, but I would like to go retro and put in his...
