    @DoubleDingo, Actually I don't think I bugged my neighbors much. Between me and the guy the lives down the block from me is just as loud as I am. So I'm pretty certain that our neighbors are used to me and him making a bunch of noise. Lol

    Build pics part 4, the snorkel part was longer but it throw off the balance of the whole things so I shorten it by 3 or 4 inches, so now the balance is a lot better.

    @squaredeal91 yeah I am, I'm just debating on the color, I've thought of clear coating it because I really like the metal look but I'm not sure yet. I really want to pinstrip it and also put lettering on it but I'm debating what put on it.

In the repair manual I have for the truck only mentions the kick down cable or the throttle valve cable is on the automatic transmission, is this correct?     @pinballlarry1 Nice, this can really help me out. I am thinking about making one from scratch since I'm having a hard time finding one. I've already started to design one out but see an oem one helps me out a lot if I do take the trip down making one myself.

    I was wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket air cleaner for a VaraJet carb or even knows what the stock air cleaner housing looks like. Every thing I find is a round connection point not the rectangle that the varajet has.

    @Vbb199 Yeah that is actually helpful to me, because it actually verifies the picture that @justhorns posted on post #3. Its pin points the exact one that I need for my 79. From what I get is 79 is the first year that the Varajet was add to the i6, previous years had the Monojet.
