    35s are bit much for a 4" I got 35s on my 76 k10 and the tires are wore a there is not much tread and it still contacts my fenders but that's on only if I go to flexing even just a little. They are on stock rallies btw!

    Also with this above setup you can run the HIDs and not worry about the harness being the weak point since it will be pulling power from the battery and not the switch which causes like a 2v voltage drop.

    Doesnt the pre-80 block have the casting number on the back of the engine on drivers side. And the newer has 5.7L instead of the numbers?

    They seem to be right as the clamshells either came from a 74 chevy truck or a 81 chevy truck. And the rubbers was for my 82 chevy truck. I did manage to get them in it was a PITA after hours of prying and taking the bolts loose on one side. Never had that much problems!

    No I don't not have the brackets between the clamshells as it would make the problem worse. The distance of the clamshells need to be decreased about a inch.

    Front Low Lock Low N High High Lock if you have manual hubs(unlocked) you will have to run in high lock If you have Slugs (locked all the time) you should be in high You can run your manuals in high if the case has a part time kit in it

    Motor Mounts Wont Line Up!

    The problem is the mounts on the engine are to wide for the rubber mounts. The distance between each motor mount is wider than the frame mounts. When I put one bolt in on the passenger side the drivers side motor mount needs to go in about an inch.

    Well when I got the jimmy it had no mounts whatsoever. Im just wondering if there is a difference between mounts on the engine 2ws or 4wd but I wouldn't think so. I may just have to like you said grind out the hole!

    a turbo 350 does not have OD on the selector. You either have the basic turbo 350 or the lock up turbo 350. The Lockup works when the trans is in D. You should see somewhere on the drivers side of the trans where the plug in goes if it is electronic if you see no where for it to go I would...

    Haha I do know that there are "tall and Thin" and "short and wide" mounts. But figured since the mounts I got are for trucks they would work. I was hoping to get the darn thing in before it got to cold!!

    Electrical issues

    Usually a blower motor makes noise at lower speeds when its starting to go bad and clears up when it gets more voltage. May see how many volts the fan is getting when on high and engine running and revved up. 15v seems a bit high not much though.

    id like to make my own rather than paying for one. Id really like to convert to a better fuse block where I can incorporate relays and such I may try to find one from a 96 chevy or something.
