    Anyone have a copy of a 1975 Vacuum hose routing diagram? I can't find one anywhere on the internet. I have a picture of what it looks like but a diagram would be better.

    i put a import direct brand in my beater a week after i got it and it has been a year now with out problems. it had the factory fuel pump when i changed it 22 yrs on the original pump is remarkable.

    delphi or carter is what i use. do NOT use airtex because you are asking for trouble mechanical or electric.

    2.39 for ethanol free 87 e10 is around 2.09-2.15 here.

    we got 87 ethanol free and it runs good but i only run it in my mower and handheld stuff since the carbs are more sensitive than what is found in cars.

    i usually only buy gas in my town and no where else because there is a lot of independent stations near my work but i would never buy there as my ethanol tester found 87-93 to have between 15-29 percent ethanol. the marathon gas i buy has 8-10 percent while the shell in town has 15%

    i happen to run marathon in my stuff including my square since the fuel mileage is the best. the difference is quite dramatic when i use either murphy from walmart or shell which is odd.i have also noticed spark knock at times with murphy. shell doesn't cause any spark knock but my economy...

    in the early days on the forum i had a 75 c30 of course larry remembers the truck it had a 350 4bbl 4spd manual with 4:11 gears it only got 9-10 mpg.

    its ugly, cramped, the seats suck and the heat doesn't work but it gets 41 mpg 283,000 miles but the 5spd makes it tolerable. if the fuel tank is bone dry it only cost 23.00 to fill it at 2.30 per gallon dump the clutch in first and it will squeel those 13'' tires :driver:.its a 94 ford aspire...

    my last truck with a 305 was a 79 with 2 barrel and a 3spd auto got 14 highway running 50-55 mph because i don't do interstate. i had a 87 with a 305 it had tbi 700r4 and a tall geared axle 2:73?? i got close to 20 with it running interstate at 75-80 mph.

    the alcohol worked some of it off i got some medium steel wheel and gojo i will try when i have some free time. if it makes me mad i will soda blast it and paint it with black epoxy paint.
