    Steering Column Advice

    If those bolts are indeed loose, does that cause the whole wheel to wobble or just the gear shift? I've got a different column (fixed, three on the tree), but only my shifter and its housing wobbles, not the ignition section or the wheel, which is solid as a rock. Any clarifications?

    You talking LMC $400ish metal-backed dashes? I used a preexisting hole in the truck's metal sub-dash (I think PO drilled it) to run a screw from the inside out into the backing of my LMC dash as I held it in place. That held enough to get it draped and molded perfectly around the instrument...

    Make sure your light icon lines up when you reinstall. It has some rotation, but only goes so far depending on the orientation of the shaft.

    Thank you @nvrenuf. At some point someone must have put a blank grille on mine. There are some great looking replacements that come with the emblems, so I may go for one of those eventually.

    My 1976 C10 Custom deluxe has a plain grille, no bowtie. Would it originally have had one? Are all badgeless squarebody grilles aftermarket?

    3 speed Column Shifter parts

    What does it interface with underneath the outer shell? Mine hasn't broken like in the photo, but wobbles everywhere while shifting.

    3 on the tree problem.

    I also ran out of adjustment on mine before tightening anywhere close to .005. Not having problems yet though.
