    I had it for sale for 4 grand firm its a clean unmolested truck that runs and drives great and its the Cheyenne and its a 71 so factory 5 lug discs up front I feel its worth 4 grand and would not take any less worse trucks were selling for more just cause they had nicer wheels...

    every l31 I have torn apart has had a mess inside the intake from the egr and baked left side intake gasket. I removed mine for those reasons and I think it would run better without it. I live in WYO and we have no emission laws of any kind here

    my understanding of the egr system is the exhaust is an inert gas to take up combustion space. the computer should lean the fuel out when the egr kicks in so less fuel and less air to burn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exhaust_gas_recirculation

    I have deleted the egr already I didn't like how messy it made the inside of the intake. and I think the egr in the l31 bakes the front intake gasket causing it to leak. and plumbing exhaust back into the engine just does not seem right to me. I would think it would be cleaner with out it

    it will run with the 350 chip but it will be way lean and not run right I wouldn't do it that way. I was just saying the tbi will work on any stock cam or mild cam 454

    I was thinking about this today and auto headlights was the main thing that kept popping into my mind. my 07 crew cab has them and I have kinda got use to them and forget to turn on my light when I drive my older stuff. I don't like the power mirrors for the square the just don't look right...

    the 87 uses the old style plug on the firewall and the 91 uses the newer small style plug will not interchange it would be easier to keep the 87 harness they both should be tbi

    oh ya I deleted the egr and all emissions I used a edelbrock non egr intake so I am not sure about the egr as long as you have one on your intake it should work.
