    the brackets that are ordered were for the 73-80 but that dosnt mean that the right ones came. i’ll call DIY4x on monday and talk to kirt and see if he has some info. i’m going to call energy suspension also and see if they can tell me why only have 1975-1980 listed.

    Which Transmission?

    4l80e and a 205 is the same setup im going with. only i plan on running a 6.0 LS. The 496 should make some good power, i had one in my chevelle and it made right at 500 hp and 650 tq on pump gas.

    Help me identify a vibration

    maybe try a different set of tires from a friend. I had a truck with a vibration, they had to balance the tires 3 times in order to get it right.

    the shocks are inside the frame on mine as well. I sent an email to the guy at diy4x, im assuming at this point that i will be sending back the ones i ordered and getting the setup for the 1 ton. I suppose he can just toss the parts in when when i order the crossover steering stuff.

    thanks for the info, that good to know. i have a buddy that has a 4x4 one i can steel parts from so i will do some measuring once the parts show up. im sure i could either cut the ones of the parts truck or just make a new set.
