    you will soon learn that 1000 hp and daily driver don’t really go together. 1000 hp is hard on parts even if your going easy on the truck. lots of maintenance and work along with a ton of money to make it all happen.

    the hobarts are made by lincoln if i remember right. i would try to find a used miller/lincoln one. i would also stay away from fluxcore wire. it burns hotter. i would get some 0.030 wire also, takes less heat which helps keep the warping down

    i did crossover on truck from DIY4X some of the buckles can me machined down for a flat top or you can get the from Reed (i think that’s who makes them) also you use a 2wd steering box. i would also look at doing the ram assist stearing also.

    you have to change the shaft in the transfer case. advanced adaptors makes the setup, you will also have to machine the case to accept the bigger bearing that the 32 spline shaft needs.

    NP205 cracked mount

    seen a lot of them that are cracked. they just bolt in between the 205 and the transmition. i have 2, both have been welded before, it can be done if you know a good welder.
