    here’s mine. i managed to a 12k lb waren winch tucked behind the bumper and between the frame rails. it’s right but it fits. i never have liked the winches hanging off the front or on top of the bumper

    mine are from the top down. they have some stamped steel plates that go on top of the leaf springs that hold the u-bolt in place and cast steel piece thatfits over the axle tube that the u-bolts go through then the nuts go on from the bottom

    what are you running for a distributed. i have had some that the modual in the the distributer would get hot after running for a while and kill the truck. let it cool and it would fire right up. drive it till it dies and see if you have spark. that should tell you if it’s a fuel or spark issue

    are they too close or too far, you can color the tip of the valve and put the rocker arm on and see exactly where they are hitting through the cycle. are the pushrods the right length?

    you can add the second reluctor ring into the 4l80. I did it on mine, you just add the ring/sensor from a 2wd setup. what transfer case you using?

    454 tbi occasional oil smoke?

    from what i have seen, if it’s the seals for the stems it’s just on startup after sitting. they leak oil when it sits and it burns off when you start, when it’s running the oil can’t build up so no smoke
