My new Daily.. A 1999 s10 swb 2wd 65,000mi traded across for POS Buick. It has powdercoated black dish spokes, with chrome detail. 4l60e trans and 2.2L4; 2inchish drop in front and about 4+in the rear. Wanna bag it, c-notch it, replace springs with de-arched long bed springs...- Battlac40

Rebuild came out nice $157 Skinner’s Carburetor & Distributor Service 300 Aspen Ave NW Ste. B, Albuquerque, NM 87102 Runs good / fired right up Might need some adjustment haven't had a q-jet in a while.. On the eddy if you got an HP motor adjust left screw until idle gets rough then right...- Battlac40

Exactly, just making sure that I am not crazy. Good info on the needle and accelerator pump. Been leaning toward the later; this strengthens my suspicion. Gonna take it in to a shop for a rehaul.- Battlac40

A Month. Premium with a bottle of Lucas all gas around here has "10%" ethanol; Commies. Bought it in Southern Colorado drove it to Northern New Mexico and caput. "Ran when I parked it syndrome": Parked the new project in the in the carport changed the pinion yoke and some floor board work. Now the truck wont start. Ran some new rubber from the top of the metal line to a new filter with some new hose to the Q-Jet. Sprays fuel out of the line...- Battlac40

I had similar problems and it was all due to timing. Ps the eddy is always going to piss you off, but it looks pretty, and everyone will always say " What a bad ass carb bro " Whalst you are crying on the inside and saving up for sniper efi or a dominator&bigblock.- Battlac40

DIY Bedliner
Don't like the result of hurculiner. Hard, plasticy, heavy, thick-course spatter that looks like it should be on households . . instead of a 40yr old trucks. Ruins the gun too. :beatdeadhorse5:- Battlac40

Raptor liner is tintable from the paint counter ( for a richer color ); has a shiny flake in it too. Lays down pretty flat with a roller. Texture is thinner than line-x but more aggressive and alot cheaper.- Battlac40

Good points I own an 81 and 76 both have flat crossmembers and when I got the 81 it had the spacers there (as above in the 85'). When I bought the truck it had a 4 1/2in skyjacker lift on i tbut was missing many pieces. So, my mechanic and I chaulked the spacer up to the previous owner and... -
