    I did had to install an emc filter afterwards, the needle of the tach was too shaky. Found that on ebay.

    I did the conversion a couple of years ago on my '91. It's not exactly the same as a '73 but very simular. All wiring was included or ordered separately, can't remember. What i can remember is that it was not very hard to do. I did find some pics.

    A1 Cardone part nr A1 27-7524. I only paid 92 USD + 100 for the core, so maybe i was a little cheap. I checked that lee site, but they only sell remanufactured ones only. Are these boxes available new ?

    Gas Tank Removal

    My '91 square has a shielding plate under the tank that is 4 x bolted to the frame. The straps that hold the tank are only bolted at the the rear and have hooks on the front. If you have a tow bar (sorry don't know the english word), you'll have to remove that first.

    Thanks! On the summit website somebody reviewed the Spectra unit and mentioned that the gasket was not included. I"ll order one extra just to be safe.

    Well there are a couple of american car parts dealers here but i find them very expensive compared to ordering parts myself in the usa even with shipping costs included. The fuel filter on the other hand has metric threads and is used on a number of european cars also so i could pick one up here...

    Ok, i just proved my point about being an idiot. I put some fresh gas in and now it starts immediately but runs very rough and shaky. It did not throw any codes. So probably fuel filter or fuel pump. Hope i can score a filter here in Belgium or else i can wait for a week to get one from...

    Yes i did. Which makes me think i'm an idiot. The code 42 was probably stored because i disconnected the tan wire (BYPASS) to check my timing. I should have cleared the code. I'll clear the codes, try to start it, let it run for 10 minutes or so and see if it throws any code.
