Driveway leaf springs and shock replacement or pay $600?
this was 2 years ago while I still had my pops to help we put in shocks it was pretty simple now for leaf I have no clue. best way to do shocks is while they are still compressed from the plastic band is the bolt in the top then cut the band and let it uncompress till it gets to the bottom hole...- Derrick

the way I look at it is you pay for what you get. I would pay 1500 for it and keep it till I die and get passed down. the other thing is snap-on is made in my state and less than an hour away from where I live. So I am a little partial to snap-on. my grandfather bought a Kennady box back in 1979...- Derrick

it's a learning curve the more you drive the easier it will be to park when my work does traveling jobs sometimes I get to drive the work truck (2005 Chevy 3500 fat ass) and I could not park it for the life of me. now that I have driven it a few times I am always within the lines or at least on...- Derrick

so nothing too heavy, f@ck it get the dually if it has the options you want and is a good price as long as you can live with pretty bad gas mileage.- Derrick

what is the truck's use? towing/cruising. if you are towing heavy trailers dually is better. Cruising srw is better on gas. are you looking to customize it? duallys have fewer options then srw trucks do for rims lifts etc. Just look at how you are going to use it in life parking in a dually is...- Derrick

Anyone Ever heard of Electrolysis ???
I figured it would be easy enough to do and if i ruin a 350 block who cares. I know if the block is not rusted you don't need to do it. now the copper tubing seems to look easy to bend and if i leave the barrel outside how bad could it be? Another thing is can i just use tap water or distilled... -

its been a nice box so far i don't like the lid on the 4th drawer it gets in my way more often than not i think i might try to take it off. -

I could never have a nice snap-on box it would just get scratched and i would get pissed when i notice the scratches. everyone at my work would scratch the box to piss me off knowing them. lol -
