    Fluctuating idle symptoms

Recently replaced the coolant temperature sensor that fixed the high idle I was experiencing. Truck's been running great now that the idol is where it should be but I noticed in the last day or so the idol is surging. Not all the time though and only notice at idle speed in park or stopped at a...

    Door seal question

Rear driver side door on my suburban has slight leak. The seal around the door looks fine but it's obviously not keeping out the water. My question is is there any trick to getting these to seal or am I just better off replacing it which I'm opposed of. Just entering the raining season here in...

Where is the radio antenna routed on an 88 suburban

Thank you for the information. I found a junkyard near me with a 1990 suburban that has an antenna I'm going to check that out. I also realize the radio I bought has Bluetooth and one of the shows I listen to on am has a live stream. Think I'll try streaming for now until I could get to the...

Where is the radio antenna routed on an 88 suburban

Thank you! Could you recommend an antenna that would be one solid piece instead of three different connections. The connections are all rusty and not in really good condition I'm sure that has a lot to do with it as well I would like to find a antenna that's just one solid cable from the antenna...

    Getting Started with the Boys

Best looking truck ever! Only if GM would make a mass replica of this truck now days with only the basic gauges with the focus on drivetrain (solid axles) and without all the computer crap. I feel it could do good things for them. Sad thing is I would touch a chevy newer than 99.

    Universal joint.

If you just call any auto parts store and give them the year make and model of your vehicle if it's stock they'll give you the right one. As far as brands go I prefer Spicer!

    High cold idle

I do know.. the truck was owned by someone who properly took care of the vehicle. Tons of receipts and everything is there including ac unit. Throttle body was rebuilt in 2019. Truck doesn't leak and you can just tell when it's a vehicle that's been properly dealt with and not owned by somebody...

    High cold idle

That's what I kind of figured My high idle lasts for much longer at least until I put it into gear. I try to let it warm up so it doesn't slam into gear when going into drive or reverse.

    High cold idle

My 350 runs great but I feel the cold idle runs a little too high. I understand it's supposed to be that way while it's cold but it's a little too high. What's the best way to lower the idle for when it's cold on a throttle body? When it's warm it's fine.

Power window issue on my 88 suburban

Considering I've never had a square body with power windows any chance you have a picture of that relay? After reading the write-ups on this subject I was under the impression the 88 suburban was a plug and play with no relay just a fuse. The diagram on that same thread didn't show a relay...
