GM 68-72 ARE THE BEST CARS EVER MADE HANDS DOWN.
EVERY 2 DOOR VEHICLE WAS AWESOME FROM CADILLAC..BUICK..OLDS..PONTIAC...CHEVROLET..
HAVE TO APPRECIATE 73-77 FOR WHAT IT IS..THE LAST REAL CARS THE REAL GM EVER BUILT..SAD..BUT TRUE!
That 73 front end is beautiful.
Split grill.
73 bumpers that are indestructible.
Surf board hood shape.
What's so ugly?
They sold a ton of 73-77 grand prix.
The square lamps are ugly.
I could kick myself...when I was younger I'd throw away the stock air cleaner and bolt on a chrome open element.
Loved flipping the lid on the stock air cleaner and hear the fuel go bye bye!

Elcamino has a boxed frame..like a pickup.
Super strong.
Had another 73 with a 454 and turbo 400.
Amazed my friends pulling trees from the ground..lmfao
The chrome plating today is junk.
The EPA has strict rules.
Original 73-77 bumpers are 50 years old and most still look good.
GM spent millions on designing those 5 mph bumpers..were made to outlast the cars..which they have!
$15,000 gets you a pretty nice car at barret Jackson.
I paid $1200 for my 73 with blown engine.
The 73-77 bumpers are everywhere..they are indestructible.
Whoever did the chrome plating..did a fantastic job.
The bumpers are still shining brightly as the rest of the car is Swiss cheese.
Look harder.
Oil technology is the reason engines now last 200k,300k etc.
Why spend $30,$40,$50 k on a vehicle and protect it with cheap oil?
Diesel oil is a good alternative for older engines..higher zinc content.
Just replace with stock moog suspension components.
Shocks can be upgraded as shock technology has come a long way.
GM had great engineering at the time.
I'm not a fan of these guys trying to reinvent the wheel..when it comes to suspension components.
