So got door on. Horrible pain in the ass getting that on. By far hardest part so far. And I got 5200 everywhere and tape residue all over. Have to figure out the latches now. Will try getting more done this week but got pretty pissed off today. Beer is about to be real nice.- WomenandthePolice

Need some help. I went to Ace and home Depot and they don't get it. I tried using a piano hinge but it won't work because gap in very close and hinge has to be on the inside of door. Will a surface mount hinge work?- WomenandthePolice

So cut a square ish hole where my orginal plan with factory gauges failed like a Ford. All new(to me) gauges came in and 1 from O'Reillys and the idiot lights. Cut out another peice of aluminum and riveted it in. Then put the dash back in and made marks for gun rack/umbrella holder. Pulled it...- WomenandthePolice

Just the blinker lights today. Going to order gauges tonight. Planning on cutting a square out where I screwed up the 3 other holes and cutting a piece of aluminum for the rest of gauges and dummy lights. Then can get to the gun rack.- WomenandthePolice

Just got it running again. Was real nice pain in the ass. Got the lights in going to install them today. Also broke the tach I got, hooked the wires up wrong. Looking at oil pressure, temp and fuel gauges now.- WomenandthePolice

Tach wire caught on fire.
Broke down yesterday. Lots of smoke from under hood. Found a wire the previous owner had connected it shorted to the firewall. Anyone happen to have had this problem? I have not checked anything yet. Going to look at it this weekend.- WomenandthePolice

Yep still working on dash. Trying to figure out gauge problems. New problem today. I was on way home and engine died. I pulled over smoke coming from hood. Got it open and a wire off the coil was smoking. Called a buddy and towed it home. Got to looking and a wire I think that went to a tach...- WomenandthePolice
