There are no we or wa codes on the RPO. Just that 17P silver metallic. I looked it up online and one site said medium graystone. I just don't understand why it would say silver metallic when that same site had a 14 for that paint code. My paint was a little darker than what I can see is the...- Cemack

Thanks everyone. After checking out checking out tach filters on the old Google machine, that is exactly what it is. I will try and find one at the local pick "n" pull. Thanks for the replies. So it sounds like if I can't find a replacement it won't be a big deal? It can be left off? I had a friend who thought it was a filter for the radio as well. All I know is it came off The firewall, just to the left side (drivers) of the motor- Cemack

I am rebuilding my 78 GMC K15 and have removed all the wiring from my cab. I took pictures of where everything was routed, but I have since smashed my phone and lost all my pictures. Help on these please.
Yes they screw into the cab and form a seal between your fender/in front of the door. When I removed mine while restoring my truck i found they caused a lot of rust,especially at the top. I had to weld a patch in because they caused so much rust. I would like to leave them out as well, but think...
