    I think what most likely has happen is back when it was imported into australia there would have been an age limit on import, so the 89 would have been too new, use an 81 vin and no issues.     Re-reading the post - I have no idea where that number come from as I realise the VIN is on top of the rail not the side. I can only assume its come from when the vehicle was imported?

    Ok, this matches the vin plate thats on my firewall and seems to match my current specs apart from the clock. I assume this is the number on the chassis frame you guys are talking about. That number does not seem to line up with the other vin numbers at all Sent from my GT-S7275Y using Tapatalk

    Had a little play around with the wipers this evening. Interestingly I have no intermittent wiper function - they just run on the low speed when any of the intermittent speeds are selected. Might look at replacing that pulse module. Jumping the park circuit I get similar results to before where...

    Speedo not working

    Good time for a failed speedo thread - mine has been intermittently working. Seems to be a possible electrical issue as it will work for a while and then stop. Also noted that when its working its reading slow by around 10km/h (5mph) compared to a GPS.
