Now I WILL say it was very rust free. What rust there was was surface. So structurally it is a great stepping off point. It honestly wasn't horrible. The more I think about it, the more I wanna get some Jeep take-off 33s BFG AT KO2s on it and work on the little things one at a time. But yeah...- IdahoJOAT

So, looked at it. Guy wants $5250. It's been swapped for a L31, swapped to an edelbrock 4 barrel. TH350 and NP208. The only gauge that worked was the speedo, and it was off by like 5 mph. 265s on it. It hesitates on initial acceleration, but never died. Tailgate handle/release was jacked up...- IdahoJOAT

Thank you for warm welcome thus far. Some questions as I'm reading and researching: this rig I'm going to look at supposedly has a vortec out of a 99 truck. Which then I assume is an L31. The OP thing, ever work that out? On my 09 Avvy I had this issue and it was the OP sensor screen plugging up. One can do it without pulling the intake with a 3/8" u-joint and a pick.- IdahoJOAT

Sometimes you gotta outsmart the algorithm. "GM truck shock bolt" somehow does it whereas "Chevrolet shock bolt" doesn't.- IdahoJOAT

new rotors old hubs
Did this on my 79 Scout. Hammering did nothing and had the strong chance of messing up threads. Air hammer works just fine. -
