I have seen a 2wd '91 dually, technically an R30 not a C30, that like my truck had a 4L80e stock, I don't believe GM changed the floor pan enough to need a lift to fit a 4L80e into where a 4L60, turbo 350 or turbo 400 sat. As far as I know, there is no need for any special lift to clear a 4L80e in a squarebody, mine is factory and I know a guy who put an LS and 4L80e in his '77 K20 with no lift.- OneSquarehead
