    Corn Hole?

I have been chasing a ghost in the machine, on and off for the last couple of years. I'm in the California desert so triple digits are common. Almost like a vapor lock problem, definitely temp related. I drive 20 minutes away, shut off, go into a store (or whatever) back out in ten minutes...

    Long cranking time

Well plugs are leaking. Very common issue with the Rochester. Pull it apart, epoxy the well plugs, reassemble, problem solved.

    Fuel Tank Selector Valve

Or sometimes called the Pollak valve. Anybody reproducing them? Checked with Classic Industries but nothing in their catalog?

    Delay Wiper Module?

You're probably right. I'm weird about having everything working properly on my truck. Trouble is, I've got to justify this one when here in the desert it might only rain once or twice in the whole year! :(

    Anyone Reproducing Air Inlet Tube?

Just received the 38-4358 fresh air duct from LMC Truck. Fit is perfect. It is an exact replacement for the earlier trucks as well. Don't know why they don't list it as such in their catalog.

    Delay Wiper Module?

Well, they have one alright. $150 plus shipping which sounds a little steep to me.....but then again, it might be the only one out there.

    Delay Wiper Module?

[email protected] is a non-working address. Tried it twice from two different computers. Comes back as a wrong address? Never mind. Found the correct address.

    Delay Wiper Module?

Anyone reproducing it for 1977 model year? Not sure what other years are the same, just know some later ones are different and won't work. Part number is obsolete at GM. :(

    Anyone Reproducing Air Inlet Tube?

Craig, that one looks like it should work.

    Anyone Reproducing Air Inlet Tube?

Y'know, now that I'm looking at that LMC listing, if memory serves me correctly, I think the difference is that the early duct was corrugated all the way to the rad support. The '79 style shows the straight end fitting at the rad support but this may be a suitable replacement for the earlier...

    1977 Cold Air Inlet Duct

Black plastic flexible tube. Fits from air cleaner to radiator support.

    Anyone Reproducing Air Inlet Tube?

Thanks for the input guys. I see their listing only goes back to 1979. My truck is a '77. I wonder what the difference in the duct is?

    Anyone Reproducing Air Inlet Tube?

Thanks for the kind offer HK Jr, but I think '87 is different. It might be hard to tell by my picture but my duct points almost straight towards the radiator support inlet. The '87 style air cleaner outlet points almost completely sideways, towards the passenger fender, before curving back to...

    Anyone Reproducing Air Inlet Tube?

Mine was missing when I bought my truck. I picked up this flexible tube from Home Depot just to draw some outside air under the hood here in the hot California desert, but it looks like it belongs on my wife's dryer! Does anyone reproduce the correct, black flexible plastic hose? Or I'd be happy...

Radio Harness Pig Tails are a PITA!!!

Thanks Jimmy, I did a little more research and yes, the General was stupid enough to make a billion different connectors in the early 70's. I've found that my radio is a 31BFM1 which was available originally in a '73/'74 Caprice and Impala. There are a few others...

Radio Harness Pig Tails are a PITA!!!

I've been trying to locate the correct plug for my GM AM/FM radio with zero success. I bought the generic "supposed to fit all" pig tail set off eBay. Tried it on half a dozen different GM radios, it doesn't fit anything. This is really getting to be a pain in the ass. Was GM stupid enough to...
