    I avoided the internal throwout bearing like the plague. If the seal leaks it ruins everything inside the bellhousing. I can only speak to the external slave arrangement.

    Reason I ask is because a squeak inside the cab bounces around the metal and makes it impossible to pinpoint. Even engine vibration can cause a seat bracket to squeak and drive a guy insane in the membrane. Maybe consider an LS Swap. It won't make the noise go away but you won't care about it...

    So if it's not coming from the radio, that leaves the engine, transmission, fuel system, cooling system and exhaust system. However, based on your description, I'd bet you have something loose or rubbing, metal to metal. I'll bet you don't have a headliner?
