    New HD Ball joints.

That is what the shop also told me to try to loosen them up. I'm back in the shop working on other loose ends. One step forward and two steps back. Plus, this time of the year, so many other things going on.

    TH350 inspection cover.

What year Squarebody K5 used them? My 1976 didn't seem to have them.

K5 Blazer 2 into 1 exhaust system with headers.

I like the way it sounds! Sounds tight! Duals sometimes sound poppy to me.

    TH350 inspection cover.

On TH350 transmission cast aluminum cover there are 2 threaded holes. What is the purpose for them? Are they for a skid plate?

    New HD Ball joints.

During the assembly of the front axle. I noticed in the shop manual showing the fish type tension scale. The passenger side was pretty tight. I feel it might loosen up in time. Still need to call the Diff. shop that did the work.

    New HD Ball joints.

Checking to see if anyone else had the same issue. I have all new suspension and steering components. When driving at 40 MPH or above. It seems to wander on the road. Notice it more on a rough road. I called Wuff Off Road specialist in AZ. Nice and patient guy. I was told it could be a few...

    Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Model # 41003 Class 3. 1967-87 Chevy/GMC Fullsize Pickup short bed. Not for a 8' bed

The hitch is rated for 5000lbs. GTWR and 500lbs TW. If you use a weight distribution system, it can be used with a trailer up to 10,000lbs and 1000lbs TW. Per the information Draw-Tite sent me. I believe they can also make a I.D. sticker for it.

    Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Model # 41003 Class 3. 1967-87 Chevy/GMC Fullsize Pickup short bed. Not for a 8' bed

I have this Draw-Tite hitch that needs a good home. I had it Powder Coated. Before I did that, I took a picture of the Hitch sticker. Glad I did. I wasn't able to find any information on this Hitch. Made a call to Draw-Tite. I was told this was made in 1977. No China steel here. He was going to...

    Oil leak

I just finished my valve leak issue. I even bought the high-end valve cover gaskets, still leaked. 3rd time was the charm. I bought valve cover stud kit. Ended up using standard type gaskets with a very small bead of RTV silicone to both sides. RTV on the gasket and to the valve covers. I have...

K5 Blazer 2 into 1 exhaust system with headers.

Like a Y pipe. The Vender wasn't selling the exhaust system. One of their display frames/drivetrains with no cab on it. I agree on the 3" it would been tight enough with that size pipe. Just something different.

K5 Blazer 2 into 1 exhaust system with headers.

I'm thinking about running a 2 into 1 exhaust system on my 76 K5. 2 1/2" duals into a 3 1/2" single exhaust (Maybe 4"). I saw that at a truck show this weekend. A high-end vender did that. Looks doable. I was hoping if someone has had that done. Can you please post some pictures.

    New Guy from California

You can't go wrong with going back to original. Enjoy it for what it is. Maybe an overdrive transmission. It's a real pain to go after market and you're going to spend a lot more money/time. Just my 2 cents. Post some pictures of your truck. Cheers from Goodyear, AZ

    Having problems with blinker

I would check the bulkhead at the firewall. Make sure the 3/8" bolt is tight. I was having some issues with my blinkers this week. Thanks to the man above. Tightened the bolt and all of my issues went away.

Looks Awesome! Did you shop around for them? I think the General M/T stand out from the others. When I've seen them, I always say need to check them out.

    33X12.5X15 Mud Terrain Tires

Nice input. I'm going with the General Grabber X3. With M/T tires and headers/exhaust it will be music to my ears. Win/win!

I'll try to find the build sheet on my 400 build. 400HP was the plan. Flo-Tek heads. I called Flo-Tek and they have 400SB heads with the steam holes. Performer RPM, Holley Q-Jet EFI. Fired it up for the first last week first time. OMG! Wish I could post the video some how.
