Thanks i do too! The hood, grill, tailgate and cowl were the only things in paint. But the body is in freakin great shape! wont be long before its in paint. although today is humid, and tomorrow is too, chance of rain, so i dont know if thts an issue or if they paint it in the booth and can heat...- 1low4x4

Wire wheeled and primed and painted the front bumper brackets. Came out awesome. Too bad youll never see em lol. Cant wait to get the truck back so i cwn get under there with a wire wheel and clean and paint the rest of the frame and rear end. Ive got new shiny hardware for the shocks so youll...- 1low4x4

Got the new side markers in. Also put together the new chrome and stainless hitch reciever setup. Also, my bumper i bought 3 years ago was unfinished and rusted badly so on this new.one i sanded with acotchbrite and then adhesion promoter and then primer and gloss black. Shes about to get all the chrome trim i took off red. You cant tell in the pic but the trim on blue is yellowed bad. Ive already wire wheeled the old tape off my chrome trim and bought new. Might be a project for 15 year old tomorrow- 1low4x4

Sure. The wheel caps i just used aircraft remover that took the paint off without harming the aluminum finish. On the trim i started with a wire wheel, then a rough composite wheel and rhen a finer one. Then i hand wet sanded with 400, (shouldve started with 300) then 500, 1000, 1200, 1500 and...- 1low4x4
