Thanks for your help. I didnt know how to read all that but ultimately removed the tank selector valve and bypassed to only have my driver side tank connected. If I delete the tank switching valve, will the fuel pump still have its own power? Or is that power delivered thru the adaptor plugged into the valve assembly?- gogo14910

The passenger, internal, electric fuel pump hadn’t worked since i got the truck. Never used that side but apparently the return kept going there. The fuel was varnish by the time it filled up(years) and it began to overflow. I didnt know it wold do that.- gogo14910

87 Silverado: my pass fuel tank is never used. Yesterday it overflowed out of the filler hose while parked on a slope to pass side. I dropped the tank today and it was full of varnishy fuel. I cut the 3 hoses to the pump on that side. How can I just delete the tank? Fuel is dripping from big...- gogo14910

Best source for a new dash pad for my ‘87? LMC? Brothers? Other?
Hardware thru LMC. But, get your old one rewrapped. Runs about $250 and you keep original dash, just made new again. -

Keep checking FB marketplace for panels close to you. It’s worth it!! I couldn’t do anything with the mess the previous owner did to the panels. Used panels, a little cleaning and dye, and kept what i could from originals. New carpet was a must. Good luck! -

How does the Chinese actuator work? Mine needs to be replaced and the OE seems like its gonna blow a hole thru the bottom of the door. I want to keep that type of power. -

I did the exact same. I now have a one piece set for sale if anyone needs one. Too late to send back because I get excited and order my stuff waaaaayyyy before I’m at that point in the project. I took my assembly and seals to a resto shop. They’ll put the seals on using all my hardware. Rivets...- gogo14910

I have 15” rally’s and 15” rings. Is there a reason these absolutely won’t fit? I got these from a junkyard and they have a lot of teeth, are they maybe bent wrong? I cannot get them in. Any help?? Thanks.- gogo14910

Just replaced tie rods, idler arm, pittman arm and shocks. Put new upper and lower ball joints and rotors. Wheels painted and going tomorrow for tires. I’ll bring it off jackstands on new tires and straight to the alignment shop. Best part, my 4yr old came and said, “Dad, you’re doing a great... -
