    Cowl Hood

Well they won't call me back after 3 messages, so they aren't getting the business anyway! But good to know. Good customer service from Carolina Classic Trucks, appears all these functional cowl hoods are made by Key parts.

    Cowl Hood

Thanks - could you get me the following measurements: diameter of air cleaner opening, and the distance from the back edge of the hood to the center of the air cleaner opening?

    Cowl Hood

I'll check it out. But we were hoping to keep things as clean as possible in the engine bay.

    Cowl Hood

I'll get some pics. In the meantime, I found the USA1 functional cowl hood, but trying to verify the opening measurements. If anyone has this and can measure for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

    Cowl Hood

We knew this was going to be tight, but finding that a stock hood leaves no room for the large air cleaner we need for this build. We want to use an 8" tall element to let the 632 breathe, and when mocking up the stock hood, only have about 2" of room at the front of the air cleaner. I am not...

    Rear Step Bumper Availability

Well fellas your timing is better than mine! I have been watching LMC for months, and recently checked a few days ago. They must have just come back in stock. Score!

    Rear Step Bumper Availability

I've looked everywhere I can think of and cannot find a replacement step bumper for my 84 build. Seems it's been discontinued, as I can only find the sport style rear bumper. Suggestions welcome!

    Fuel System Advice

Sure wish I could find some of those guys with 632s! I'm sure they are out there but have posted to FB pages and the sort and just can't seem to find anyone with an existing setup.

    Fuel System Advice

Maybe someday on the equations, but not today, lol. This is an aftermarket 632, Dart Big M. It has mechanical fuel pump provision but was built blocked off. I would have to check, but think there is a special requirement for the cam to support a mechanical pump. Skip White told me they...

    Fuel System Advice

The pump is the easy part. Just don't want to build lines that are too small and have to replace everything. Also not sure if they stock selector valve is going to be too restrictive.

    Fuel System Advice

Sorry for the typo, should be GPH. I see all kinds of flow ratings for 3/8 so thats part of the reason for my question. I just can't seem to find a consistent number. To my knowledge the only thing that should affect flow rate is pressure. Most of the flow rates I find online do not include...

    Fuel System Advice

I've tried this with FB pages and am getting very different suggestions. I am running a carb'd 632 in my 84 K10. I want to run the stock dual tank setup with in tank pumps and of course a switching valve. The questions I would appreciate your feedback on: Are the stock size lines (3/8 feed...

    84 K10 Tie Rod

Strangely having a heckuva time getting a tie rod setup to work on this truck. I tried the heavy duty ORD tie rod, and I can't get close to full steer without diff cover contact. I do have the Ruff Stuff diff cover which is a bit thicker than stock, but its very clear the ORD rod is too thick...

    Fuel Tank Selector Valve Porting

Did you go with a 6 port Pollack valve? If so, what was the part number? I think its 42-151 but would like to confirm before I order. Thanks.

    Rough country trash?

Thank you. Does that mean you didn't install the locking collars? I have 6" ORD springs and was thinking those bumpstops you have look pretty nice.

    Tuff Country Lift Kit Experience

I had exactly the same experience with Tuff Country. This was March of 2023 so it would appear something has changed. The springs were absolute garbage. They were drop shipped from TC. I ordered a 6" and they sent 2" front and 6" rear, they were clearly not even close to the same spring rate...

    Rough country trash?

Where did you get those bump stops? And, did you have trouble with the ORD sway bar locking collars? There is no clearance on my frame to mount next to bushing. As a matter of fact, my frame doesn't look anything like what's shown in the ORD instructions.

    AMD Patch Metal for Sale

Sure, shoot me a PM. I'll be heading through the hills on my way to Big Horns on the 15th, back out in the hills 23-25.

    AMD Patch Metal for Sale

I have a bunch of new AMD patch panels. I found a very clean cab and no longer need to rebuild mine. I have for both sides: floor pans, cab corners, inner/outer rockers, and the rear cab "skirt." Would save a bunch on freight if it were picked up. Located near Sioux Falls, SD. Or I could...

Low Hump to High Hump Conversion

Perfect, thank you for the detailed pics. Should be no problem on the VIN tag. I will move the VIN tag from my 84 cab to the new cab.

Low Hump to High Hump Conversion

I found a super clean 86 low hump cab that I'm going to buy. I have an 84 high hump that I was going to cut out and splice into the 86 cab. Other posts suggest the floors may not match up. Anyone done this on the later, non-removable humps? If so, how difficult was it? I still think its...

    ORD Traction Bars

Hoping someone else has installed these. Per instructions, I broke leaf spring pack down to one leaf, inserted spacer and mocked up rear axle to the frame. ORD says to cycle the suspension to find the least travel in mounting location. That part doesn't make sense to me. I would think the...

    Sanderson Headers question

Thanks for the pics. Looking at these for a tall deck 632. It appears from your pics there may be space, but what do you think?

It appears that a th350/np203 cross member will also work, if anyone has one available.
