    Yeah it's a Suburban K1500 so half ton 4x4 which is indeed 6 lug. I will think about those wheels. I can't afford them right now but at least I know what to look for. As for the $500 truck, should I be worried about frame damage? Maybe I can trade this guy a laptop or a website or something...

    700r4 not hitting 3rd gear

    700R4 was later modified and renamed to 4L60E. the 4L80E is a much heavier duty transmission. It's basically a descendant of the TH400 with an extra gear (and many other changes of course).

    Makse sense. If one could afford that truck you can afford an hour to fix the lights :) Here's what I don't get... would you really take something so expensive mudding/off road hard enough to warranty such a large lift? Probably not. Still, it looks absolutely awesome.

    My Suburban came with one... it's a rubber thing with raised edges but it only covers the area behind the third row seat. Are you looking to cover the entire area with the third row seat removed?
