It's got clear reverse lights I'm such a good electrician the gas gauge and oil pressure gauge don't work so an LS would never run lol I'm a guy running a 1961 tailgate on an 02 bed on an 80 truck I had a home computer but I couldn't find Cole for it so now I just use my phone

I think if I was going to go that route I would just use one of my spare olds 455s but the hole idea was a 454 would be cheaper to go threw than a455 plus my bell housing is Chevy so I'd need to build a trans to I just don't know much about BBC parts when I finde a set of heads for it I'll post...

Tired of the screaming small block!

A cam swap is a definite possibility I just don't want to devote the time to it with so much other stuff to do on the truck and I don't think it will ever make the torque a BBC with a RV Towing cam will. Yes that all wrong small block sounds lumpy at idle lol my neighbor jokingly calls it the...

No it's something someone piece together. L-82 block and pan 4 bolt main cast crank x rods Mexico heads Edelbrock Performer intake 80 454 Quadrajet 84-85 Corvette valve covers and a huge cam that should not be in a truck. I only know because a (Corvette guy) good help him looked over the numbers...

Ok I can handle that. My olds motors have an inherited problem on the exaust side I always fix the unwanted egr bumps my small block car I even ported the manifolds to gain some free power without running headers. I guess I just need to find a set of heads and we'll use my head and a die...

I get it an engin builder said it best to me when I was young. He said it's not how much fuel you put in it it's how much of it gets burned when it's in there

Oh I'm definitely familiar with big cube torque I've got an 87 Cutlass with a 455 olds and an M-21 it brakes more that it drives lol and over the years I've driven many square bodies with a BBC that's why I want one

That figures I could have had a hole 1986 motor home a few months back that had a running 40k 454 but I had no place to bring it and no way to move it after I cut out the motor so I didn't get it I thought you wanted the small ports for a truck motor? Well if you could recommend some casting...

Tired of the screaming small block!

This isn't something I'm going to jump right on but I've been giving it a lot of thought lately. The L-82 Corvette small block just isn't right for a k30 dually loaded with tools especially since I think it was probably built for a bracket car and the cam is WAY to big and wants a loose...
