    Need obscure bearing

Alright, I know this may sound like a crazy long shot but I've gotta try. i have an old kohler motor with a knocky main bearing. So after some digging I found that the crank diameter is 1.65 inches and the main bearing inner diameter for it is 1.75 inches. If anyone knows of any manufactured...

    Engine identification

Hoping to do a little digging. A few months ago I was digging through my late uncles yard, he was a mad car guy. Stumbled across some motors and picked one to try to identify. After initial faliure I snagged these 3 pics and left, haven't gotten to go back since. Next time I go I'd like to know...

    350 to 400 small block

@Big Heavy they're like 600 lol, and I don't trust myself to cut up my block for clearance and 600+ a machine shop for striker mods and standard stuff, way out of my league

    350 to 400 small block

If I get the block and heads for the 400, what's the minimum i should have the machine shop do? And spot on about keeping the truck on the road, that's a bug reason to not pull my 350 for a rebuild.

    350 to 400 small block

@Rusty Nail thanks a TON. That cleared up a lot for me lol, and don't worry some of those pics are old I have a bigger one now. So when I go building the 400, do I still need to be sure all the pistons and rods are the same weight? I've seen some videos on rebuilds and they'll shave material to...

    Lowering on 31s

Hi all, first post here. I've got a stock 78 c10 sitting on 31s, stock height. Was wondering what my options were for lowering given tire size, I only really take it around town, and am not looking to put it on the ground. Id be happy with just 2/4, not sure if that's possible though. Id just...
