    Oil leak

    Look at the front of the block. There's 4 bolt bosses where front motor mounts were used. Make sure that there's a bolt in the top passenger side. I can't tell you how many times people have brought their fresh motors in wanting their front seal replaced, and it was only a missing bolt.

    Power steering pump

    Anybody out there old school like me. Years ago, you could go to the dealership and by the "pink" pump valve spring for the P/S pumps that turned to easy. Anyone know where I can pick up one?

    Mechanical fuel pump

    BBC mechanical fuel pump has 6 psi cold ( fast idle, 4 psi warmed up). Running Quick Fuel 570 cfm carb.

    Driveshaft lengths

    I have a 1975 SWB w/ BBC, 12 bolt differential, TH400 w/ bolt on yoke. I have a slip on conversion yoke. Does anyone out there know how long the driveshaft should be? Thanks
