Not trying to be mean but I've seen a bunch of these trucks don't know what good a picture would do and I always install the orifice with the short side in wire mesh toward the compression

    Air conditioning

Oh yes the high side is always closed except when vacuuming the system but you can always read the pressure as long as you have the hose connected

    Air conditioning

Vent air is just ambient not cooling at all and low side is low enough that the compressor cycles but if I try to add enough to keep compressor on the high side goes higher and at that point I unplug the compressor

    Air conditioning

It will go up to over 200 with 1 12 oz can but when I start adding the 2nd can it will keep going up and climb to 350 before I get the 2nd one half in

    Air conditioning

Not immediately the high side will start up when I start putting freon in and then the compressor will kick off and on but as I keep adding freon the high side will just keep climbing although the compressor will still cycle on and off although of course less frequently and I thought the same...

    Air conditioning

I left the system in a vacuum overnight and it held it and yes I opened the yellow hose at the gauge and purged the air in the line out there is no air in the system as I add R134a the high side just keeps climbing
  21. W

    Air conditioning

No the orifice tube is also brand new and my vacuum was showing 29in/hg I let the pump vacuum for 90 minutes when I started introducing the R134a. Yes the complete system was flushed before I installed the new compressor and condenser and dryer and orifice I cleaned with a good flush kit the...

  24. W

    Lower control arm
