    Led conversion (running/turn signals)

Are you running the led flasher relay with the external ground wire? It will make a difference. I've converted my 87 to all led bulb with original sockets and have not had any problems. If you are running that style relay, it's probably going to be the switchback bulbs giving you the issue.

Can’t get these gauges to work…

Those three gauges share two different wires when it comes to the printed circuit board. A positive 12 volt switched ignition wire and a common ground wire. Then each one has its own sender wire. Is the voltage gauge working properly, and are the cluster illumination lights working properly? If...

    Help identifying under dash connector

Since the wire is pink/black and purple, that connector would be for the neutral safety switch for a clutch setup. I dont have my diagram in front of me to see where it connects for the auto trans, but that is what my 87 had before i did away with that circuit altogether. It is the same style...

Replacing rubber brake lines, i'm about to lose it

Did u pull the c clip from the soft line fitting and pull it through the bracket a little. Those hard lines have flat spots that sit into that bracket. Some people don't know that. If u pull it through a little, u can get a set of vice grips on each fitting. It will free up that way.

    Vent window stud threads

Got a new frame for my wing window on my 87 Chevy V20. The only problem is the original nut was rusted onto the original frame stud that broke. I have searched high and low in the forums and even tried using my tap and die gauges to find the correct thread size for a new nut but cannot. Does...

    Building Gauge Cluster

You will be reduced to doing what I essentially did. Only I used all my original gauges. I just did this in order to replace the printed circuit board. 20180927_080540 by Edward Koleman posted Sep 27, 2018 at 9:58 AM

New to square bodies '81 SM465 question

These Saginaws do not like being shifted fast. The one in my 87 is the same way. I find double clutching to help tremendously. Wind the tyranny up, the higher the rpm the quicker u can grab the next gear on these. But remember, shift slow.
