    I’ve got a stock cam and see as high as 25hg at idle, I’m sure it’s pretty well up there at cruise, I’ll defiantly play around with holding it in third and leaning out cruise a bit as well

    I’ll have to give that a try, I’ve thought the same thing and have started getting quotes for an axle rebuild. I’m loosely saving to have a shop drop in some 3.73s and a tru trac, but 1100 dollars is gonna take me a couple months

    How’s the afr gauge treated ya? I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting one of them + a tuning kit and going through my truck, when I mash the throttle it REAKS of fuel, I can only imagine how much power Im leaving on the table

    Yea I’d love to see how the filters are set up. But you’re saying that going simply from a classic big aircleaner to the scoop kills that much power?

    I’ve had good experience with local guys, the only other thing I can think of is to get the shifter tab off the old th350, and put it on the 700r4. And you’ll have to redrill the mounting holes in the crossmember, but if you redrill the mounting holes you can use the stock crossmember

    The only thing you need to do is measure the tail housing on your th350, if it’s a 6 inch housing the 700 can use the same driveshaft, assuming you’re working with a 2wd

    I know but I drive on the street every day as opposed to the highway once a month, I figure the 3.73 will be a good middle ground
