    Vibration at 65

84 C10, no carrier, slip joint is go (trust me, had other issues with it leaking and fixed it). So it could be driveshaft, as someone has replaced the TH350 for a 700r4. And it could be u-joint also... Leaf springs seem to be good.

    Vibration at 65

And the only time I have felt engine mounts were Mercedes Benz hydraulic filled mounts, and that happened at idle. So thats why I was curious about solid rubber mounts. Though, youd thunk I would have felt them other times. And I did consider u-joints... buttttttttt once again, never felt a...

    Vibration at 65

Well, I didnt think TC as it doesnt happen at lower speeds and it does happen at higher speeds without lock up. I see where you are going with suspension, but that shouldnt change with speed and RPM.

    Truck leans on right side

Glad I saw this, I was going to post about it. I have the same lean too. I have a good pic of it somewhere. I was thinking cab mounts myself. And prob bed mounts while Im at it. I have to replace the fuel sending unit anyways.

    Secondary metering rod size?

Well... good catch. I would have figured that no one would have actually stood in front of their truck in gear. lmfao.

    Vibration at 65

Since I purchased this truck, it has had a vibration. Now, when it had the 22's, it happened at like 73 or 75 mph. I thought maybe it is was the big dumb wheels. I since put on a set of stockers with a 235/75 and it still has a vibration but now at 65. Ok, I know this is now rotational to RPM...

    Secondary metering rod size?

Set your idle to 500 in gear .idle mixture at the biggest vacuum, something around 1.5 turns each. And test your fuel pressure .

Well. If he comes back, I'll go help him. I know I had my ass kicked by this once. Plano is only 45 mins away.

    Is there a ground block?

So I verified from the amps, since there are two, the other smaller box is a subsonic filter, have .3 ohms to the battery. Those are good. This is all the shitty head unit's doing.

    Is there a ground block?

and I forgot... They could have easily used a seat bolt to ground all the equipment, but nooooooooooo, they put another hole in the bottom middle of the cab and ran a bolt and nut. And just to be sure, I ran a ground from that to the frame, because you know, cab mounts are rubber. So the only...

    Is there a ground block?

Oh, and that second pic, was after I "cleaned" it up. I should have taken a before pic. One a plus, I can now turn the system up loud enough to drown out the whirrling alternator noise. Go and figure if they cant wire up a system, they sure as hell are tone deaf too.

    Is there a ground block?

I went back and added a few grounds and cleaned grounds in the engine bay and today, strangely, I didnt get shocked getting out of the truck. Who would have thunk. Sooooo, I think the aftermarket head unit, which looks like it was stolen is internally grounded.... you know, shorted. I pulled...

    Is there a ground block?

BTW. They cut holes in the door panels and used long wood screws to put the boxes on the doors.

    Is there a ground block?

Here ya go. And I have a shit load of electrical feed back. From everything. Turn signals. Alt. Windows. Blower motor. Wipers. You name anything electrical and it provides feedback through the system.

    Is there a ground block?

errrrrrt.... (those are brakes). I was just thinking about this yesterday. I need to ground this stolen head unit from the PO. @Honky Kong jr If you thought that the 22's were the worst thing about this truck, you should see how the system is wired in. hahaha.

What Ls engine should I go with

LS1 or 2, the weight will be a big difference. You will need to replace your front suspension springs because of the weight. There isnt much of a HP difference between the 5.3 and 6.0 to be totally honest. If you want 500 HP NA, you will need heads, long tube headers, huge ass cam, bigger...
