I planned on hanging in to the pedal set incase i wanted to go back auto(not gonna happen), or figured id sell them with the 400 when the time came but if a fellow member is in a bind, i might can be persuaded. Lol@ spoiler. Probly jetted richer, air bleeds opened up, ect. Who knows. I ended up buying a rebuilt 79 corvette qjet off ebay with some “mods”. Took a chance at$200 but i dunno if it was a great one cause its runnin shitty and im gonna put my old one back on and tear into it and see whats... -

ID on these two items?
Two different front outputs on the racetrack 205 too. Early had a yoke on the front output. Later had a flange. I think the changeover was around 78 maybe.- K201979

Thats not dented, its clearanced, clarence. Lol. I think i had to “clearance” my pipes for the starter, maybe, before i went to the newer, smaller one. I wouldnt think it would hurt anything either. Sounds great! -

I just swapped in a 465 and i put two springs on the linkage. An anti-rattle spring and a fork pull back spring. See pics. I used the anti-rattle spring between the clutch fork and the zbar, parallel to the threaded rod. I used the fork pull back spring between the clutch fork and the frame, in...- K201979

Steering gear box replacement or rebuild?
Mine blew out the the big seal at the pitman arm, right in the wamart parking lot. Puked ps fluid everywhere. I rebuilt mine because i didn't trust the cheep remans and didn't want to pay for good one. Wasn't really that bad. I watched a few different utube videos and just was real careful.
