I think I just got screwed. Advice?

Just be thankful that its fixed. Drive the piss out of it, and fix it when they fail. If nothing else your parents bought you some miles. Thank them. Its only money, we will get more. Its the thought that counts!:waytogo:

My 10 year old son has already found the ashtray entertaining. He said, "look dad", while flipping the lid repeatedly:insane:, and asked what it was for. My 6 year old daughter told him it was a change holder:Big Laugh:. I explained it to them.

NP205 fixed yoke to slip yoke

I actually thought about doing this very thing(my wife has a cj7 with a 258 with scoring in the cylinder walls). Have you considered having to change radiator, and sway bar, adapters, ect.. I decided it might be cheeper to find a used 258 and build it with a hotter cam and the 4.0 head. Id like...

    Steering correction for 4in lift

Yeah. None for me either but if they recommend a dropped link then that will be cheaper on you i think. Just buy a whole new dropped drag link and be done. Instead of a raised arm and new link ends.

NP205 fixed yoke to slip yoke

I would just use the 205 with fixed yoke. Can you get the driveshaft with the 205?

    Steering correction for 4in lift

My lift(4") came with a raised steering arm, wich i feel might be better, but a dropped drag link would probably work. New ends on the link would probably stop the clunk, but it would wear fast because of the bad geometry and the clunk would be back. I would look into a raised arm and new ends...

I bought an 08 dodge(went to the chevy dealer first and they pissed me off)1/2 ton 4x4 singe cab off the lot and the rear main was leaking a year and a half later at 80k miles. Traded it on an 09 crew cab(had kids) and in the 8 yrs(like 100k mi) rear main was leaking, diffs were leaking. Put...
