I just bought a 100% rust free K10 Silverado the other day. it's not a show rig but it's a really nice original looking pickup. 1981 Tailgate Panel retrofit ?
Is there a way to retrofit a 1981 or new tailgate panel to fit the older tailgates ? I've given up finding a perfect one for my '77 so I'm looking at this option.- 440sixpack

32/11.50-15's on K10 ?
Thanks, I would stick with a standard all season tire probably the BFG Ta. I'm going to see if I can find some pictures , I'd like something slightly bigger but I don't want to look punky.- 440sixpack

The 10.50's look slightly small to me. can you run 11.50's on a stock 15x8 rally wheels on a '77 K10 without problems ?- 440sixpack

I cannot find a 77-79 grille with the provision for the bowtie emblem anywhere. they don't produce a reproduction like that ? seems stupid I can't figure it out. If a used one is what I'm going to have to find is ebay the only place or is there a parts dealer for this kind of thing. ...- 440sixpack

700r4 On Older 350 ?
It's out of a '95 I believe. it's a running driving completed conversion . I can live with everything except the engine, so if I can bolt up the correct engine I'll be happy.- 440sixpack

Hi, kind of a newbie to GM products so I hope my questions aren't too lame. I'm looking at a nice K10 that has had a 700r4 and a newer part time transfer case installed as well as a newer fuel injected engine. Not really so much the money is I don't want rust, it's just simply nothing I want to deal with. I'm just not sure if expecting to find a totally rust free 70's square body is possible realistically. so I've lowered my standards to some degree, but not far .
