I broke my new truck
Long story it all started with trying to fix the dome light which led to a new headlights switch (didn't fix anything) which led to removing the dash because it didn't fit well (had to get more clips). Now I am putting it back together, put the dash in, trying to wrangle the freakin gauge bezel...- Juan Cano

Thanks Grit Dog. I will test the wires on the door. Once I get the truck started and put this flipping gauge bezel back in!!! In another old car we own, the Neutral Switch is under the car next to the transmission. I don't see that here. So probably under steering column? Will look it up thanks...- Juan Cano

LOL!! I got it out!!! Phew!!! Trick is to pull it out as far as it goes, then push the G Spot button, then it comes right out. I'm an idiot. Live and learn.- Juan Cano

OK; so I got my Headlight switch and cannot remove the doggone knob!! I watched the videos, read the posts, no luck. I push the little button in, I pull the knob out, and I can feel it pulling the button when I do this but it stops at its normal stop. Did it 25 times at least. So hot here today...- Juan Cano

Like that idea. Blue on blue with white wheels!! I’m going to wait to do the interior until later I’ve decided. Summer is here and vacations and that’s where my money and time is going. Newbie seatbelt question
Thank you. I think I will test these better, maybe drive and brake suddenly. The webbing appears in good shape. I have read that some of the replacements don't fit inside the covers at the base and I think that would drive me nuts. Thanks for the advice. -
Newbie seatbelt question
Just got an 1986 c10 Silverado. It has 2 shoulder seatbelts, a little beat up but original, they seem to work (I don't know, haven't crashed). Are the new replacement seatbelts better? And by that I mean safer? Like the ones sold by Ecklers or LMC or CJ Pony. Or are they pretty much the same... -

I would be good with dying the mistmatched pieces, I am not looking for perfection. I am just missing a bunch. The dash pad is not cracked at all, just a little distorted above the gauge panel. Here it is in all its glory. Some of the things I'd like to correct without spending money: - The hood shuts fine but it's not aligned. I believe I might be able to correct this by losening the hinge brackets and tweaking it? With someone helping me of course. - They installed those silly rods...- Juan Cano
