    4 link and coil overs...

Being its a heavy 3/4 ton burb, i think your best bet would be to bag it. Im not talking about a body drop or laying pinch, just a nice bolt on kit.

    74 c10 lowered shock issues

Yes, I used Monroematic. They are $25 each at O'Riellys. As long as your lower shock mount mod didn't alter the stock shock travel.

    74 c10 lowered shock issues

My 82, 78, my friends 84, my other friends 84 have been lowered 4in to 5in with drop spindles and cut or drop springs all running stock shocks. Hell my first square back in '86(pic below) was dropped with cut springs and stock spindle didn't have a shock bottoming out issue.

    74 c10 lowered shock issues

You can use stock replacement shocks with no issues. Ive read more than once that these supposed drop shocks are bottoming out.

I don't think they are reproducing those. Your going to have to get one in the junkyard.

    spring hanger

Its not as hard as you think it is. I had no experience tubbing a truck before this. I wanted to do it and I figured it out one piece at a time. You can do it if you put your mind to it.

    spring hanger

I tubbed my 82 with the stock hangers. I moved them inside the frame and up 3in.

    87 C20 Lowering Predicament

You can try removing some leafs but other than that you pretty much need to do the flip with stock hangers.

    Lowering the rear

My 1st pic has a rake also, the driveway slopes so I guess its an optical illusion that its level. These trucks all have a 2in rake from the factory so a 2in drop shackle will give you the level look you are wanting. Its an easy install but you will have to notch the bed brace above the shackle...

    Lowering the rear

    1. Stock 2. 2/4in drop. 3. 4.5/5in drop. You can install a drop kit in about 4 to 8 hours depending on your skill level and tools available. It would be easier to know what you plan to use the truck for and how low you want to go to be able to give you the best answers to your questions.

    New suspension, need your opinions

I would do the 2.5 spindle, 1in drop spring uncut, and a 245/60/15 tire up front to match the overall height of the 295/50/15 out back. Also i believe the 1 ton spring with one full round cut should yeild a 1in to 1.5in drop.

    2/3 Drop

    275/60/15 would be my choice.

    2/3 Drop

Spindles and shackles will yeild a 2.5/2in drop. I would suggest a 2.5/4in drop using drop spindles and drop shackles and hangers.

    8" rally wheel

A true 15x7 rally has less than 4in of back space so it would clear better than the 15x8 with 4.25in of back space. I'm not 100% sure what your issue is based on your first post. Can you explain your problem with the 86?

    8" rally wheel

You should be able to run 8in rallys on the front with a 2.5in drop spindle, the only issue you should have is when turning lock to lock the edge of the rim will grind on the lower control arm if it hasn't been trimmed.
