Beautiful. Do you know the oem paint code on that truck? It should be in the glovebox. I have an 85 as well and I think it may have originally been that same color.
Update on the kit from original air has almost doubled to $1350.
MUCH cheaper to buy the kit yourself and you’ll get hoses as well!
$714 not including some R-134. Here’s the kit I was able to put together. Hope it helps.
Vintage air #04808-VUA From Summit $222.00

I went with Raptor Liner. I used my base coat as a tint to try and get a close match. I love how beds match the body color. Just seems more OEM to me. I did throw a rubber mat down as well though, so I don’t mess scratch it up too bad. Sorry, I’m still trying to keep her purty. I put too much...
2 year update. This thing is freezing me out while on the highway. Temps around 45 on a summer day medium blower speed. Will get colder on lower Fan speeds

I bought a pair of oem bed rails that have been cut down to to 50ish inches. I didn’t know they had been cut or I wouldn’t have bought them. Anyway, has anyone ever seen a short bed with a tool box and shorter bed rails on it? Curious to how it would look
I’ve been wanting to do a budget rebuild on my 350 as well. I’d probably do the vortec 062bswap, intake of course, new springs, cam and lifters. I’m in memphis, not sure if you’re close. You ever need help with anything. Hit me up
I bought mine from cold hose.^^^ You do have to find out what sizes are what tho and do your homework. Then you have to be sure you have your fittings aligned a certain way
I’d buy a cheap epoxy primer on eBay, then spray a single stage over it. White will hide the most flaws and black will show the most. Stay away from anything metallic as the metallic will lay in every scratch.
As far as prep goes. 320 grit over the truck. If you want to go a step beyond. hit...
