    Has anyone bought the LMC dash?

    I have a an LMC dash in my 81, fit is fair once you do a little trimming. I live in FL and forget to put my sun shade up half the time, and am the end of my 2nd summer with the dash sitting just fine. I had one in my 85 Ford too, same deal.

    Dual Tank Switch Problem

    If it died when you pressed the switch it's probably the valve or an obstruction between the RH tank and the valve.

    Electric Fan Conversion

    I switched to electric fans just to clean it up and free up the power. I wouldn't do it again. It works fine, but it adds complexity for zero benefits.

    What's the best way to drain the gas tank?

    I have an electric pump, I just by-pass the oil pressure safety switch, disconnect a hose at the carb or filter and pump it out.

    Update (and cross post for those that care) My fuel tank switching valve died for the 3rd time. For some reason there was only 5.5 volts being delivered to the switch. I chased the line back to the bulkhead and checked the voltage there. Still 5.5v, ran a new wire off a different circuit...
