I have the knuckles off my front axle right now to replace the ball joints. I'm planning on completely rebuilding everything while its apart. One side leaked gear oil. Sorry, I keep forgetting to post. Was a bad brake switch. It was only sending 7 volts to the transmission. I cleaned up the contacts and reassembled it, works perfect now. Locks up when warm with constant temp anytime over 35MPH. Thanks everyone that helped- usar17

hmmmm warmed up the engine and went for a test drive today. no lock up on the high way. had it for a little but when i released the pedal and reapplied it wouldnt re-engage. No I didn't. Only switches in the trans are the 4th gear switch and the 3-4 shift switch. Maybe its just because it hasn't been used in a year. Hopefully more driving will help. So long as lower mph lock up isn't an issue IDC.- usar17

ok I went through and inspected everything. The wire to C7 had come out of the crimped pin. So I redid it and plugged that in. Wired in the indicator lamp. Warmed it up driving to AutoZone to dump the old trans fluid. Jumped on the interstate and nothing. Hit a bump on the highway and the light...- usar17

ok then im good in that aspect. Unfortunately mine is two post meaning its mean to connect a circuit not self ground. Currently the TCC Signal switch is self grounding. IDK what that is for but if im reading my schematics correctly that is were the old set up was getting ground for the EGR. It...- usar17

ok I got my setup figured out. Only problem between mine and what you are suggesting is my 4th Gear switch is NO instead of NC. What is the ECM looking for to know that it is in 4th gear; ground or loss of ground? If I need a new switch im having a hard time finding them online. And are they...- usar17

So I can unplug D->4th gear switch and change it to B->4th Gear. That way it is correct. Now my current setup provides ground when in 3rd or 4th. is that an issue I need to replace with a different switch? Im assuming yes because that means it closes in 3rd and 4th gear instead of opens...- usar17

ok that is the solenoid. I don't know what the pressure switch next to it is for but it runs to one terminal on the 4th gear switch at the back then from the 4th gear to Pin D. Pin B I think goes to the switch in the middle of the back. im very confused trying to trace these wire still zip...- usar17

ok I got the pan dropped and the filter out of the way. I'm now in unfamiliar territory. I see 4 pressure sensors and what I'm assuming is the Lock-Up solenoid. Wires all over the place and they all seem to tie together somehow. The solenoid only has one wire on it. I'm gonna search the web...- usar17

ok I did some experimenting today. I attempted to ground pin D to lock up the transmission. Did not work. So here is what I found after wiring up a few test lights. Pin A: 12v with Key Ign, No Brake and Vacuum Sensor closed Pin B: 12v with Key Ign, No Brake Pin D: SENDS a Ground signal in 3rd...- usar17

Ive been reading over tons of websites, apparently there is about 13 different combinations of how the 700r4 was wired internally and externally. from normally open 4th gears, to normally closed, to internal ground, to external grounding...- usar17

D was a yellow wire that went to a connector. That connector was plugged into if i remember correctly "EGR BLEED SOL" that was inline with the vacuum line for the ERG.
