Tried for the third time to mount my rearview mirror tab, the last time I let it sit for two days before mounting the mirror to it, I could grab the mirror and adjust it, all was good. I attempted to mount my rear view mirror button and it failed. Followed the directions and made certain the windshield was cleaned well and then the alcohol wipe as the instructions stated. Trans filter and fluid and replaced the wiring harness inside the trans because the plug was leaking around the o-ring and the wire seals, it’s a 4L80E, just cleaned the pan. As soon as the pan dries up some I’ll slap the gasket on and filler-up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Yes you just need the shop air to keep the valves from falling into the engine [emoji51] and there’s several types of valve spring compressors that work with the head on, the harbor freight one works surprisingly well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Change your valve guide seals. My 90 350TBI did that and I swapped the seals with the heads on the engine. Used a compression tester hose and put shop air in each cylinder as I’d bar it over to TDC for each cylinder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
