Tbi runs strange
Check the Idle Air Control motor. Sometimes they'll act up and not set a code. Take it out a clean the plunger and passages and see if that helps.- Dan Brown

TBI Dual tank wiring

I was going to use a single higher pressure pump mounted on the frame, but then read that it's better to put the pump in the tank so the gas can cool it. The benefit, in my opinion, is better fuel mileage since the fuel is metered better. Not sure how much better mileage you can expect, as you are still, in essence driving a shoe box. The older pickups are not the slipperiest things on the road. I'm not sure that you well get any better...- Dan Brown

Help me please
Have you checked the Idle Air Control Motor. If it's dirty if can cause a high or rough idle. Not sure if being dirty would throw an Idle Air Control Motor code. If there were an electrical system problem with it, then it should throw a code. However, all this ranting may be for naught as...- Dan Brown
