Stepside Fender to Bed Seam Sealant
Usually they use fender welting which is a vinyl type product that has a piping on it to help cover any gaps between the fender and the bedside. This is what I use -

Weatherstripping
Just curious what brands everyone is using for weathstripping? Looking at the Fairchild, SoffSeal, or Precison brands to replace it all on the 82 k10 I'm working on. Thanks -

Rust repair questions
I would suggest aligning all body panels to the fit you want, then I would start with floor pans and cab support, do one side at a time and only cut out what you have to, basically working inside to out. If your cab supports are really bad, when you replace them it may change your alignment on... -

Best Cordless Tools?
I use all Milwaukee every day and have no complaints. I build and restore vehicles as a career so they get used frequently. The biggest benefit was the cordless ratchets they make, saves having to use an air ratchet for hanging body panels and having that airline near freshly painted parts... -

New here, building a 82 K10
Thanks, Picked it up a couple months ago, it needs a whole new interior and switching the color. It looked good on the outside with a few little minor areas that needed to be addressed and now has turned into a complete overhaul inside and out, as you can see by the picture. Sheet metal
AMD stuff is good if it's parts they have made the molds for otherwise they just sell other people's parts. There parts are still made in Taiwan but the molds are made in USA from what I have been told and they use thicker metal. If I remeber correctly any part number from AMD that had an X in...- Need15

Who's worked with lead vs bondo?
Anything you put over that rust without fully removing the rust will come back and the lead will pop eventually. Late 60s mopar muscle cars had lead on every one of there seams and they always popped if rust started forming underneath. Without sandblasting or cutting out and removing the rust...- Need15
