    Airbags

Front end... That is the oem crossmember, not a drop crossmember. And yes...the front end is aligned (I have a dual needle air pressure gauge mounted in the ash tray) at ride height...depends on what height you want, take note of the psi reading on the gauge and have it aligned at that...

    Airbags

Four link... I fabricated my own bridge for the rear and the bags are mounted between the bridge and on top of the rear axle. I was able to use my stock shocks, but I did relocate the upper front shock mounts (I took measurements with the bags deflated prior to relocating the upper mounts)...

    Airbags

I installed my air tank and two compressors in the bed of my truck, rather than underneath...simply due to ease of access. I wouldn't recommend getting a steel tank at all since you live in a cold wet climate. Rust sucks, buy aluminum. As far as moisture, be sure to buy a moisture seperator or...

    Airbags

That setup (trailing arm) aka "Texas 2 link" ...its a basic setup and good for cruising but if you want a big block or plan on road cruising a four link is the only way to go.

Whoa....whoa.... Hang on a second....I need to work on my fabricating skills a bit more in order to accomplish that... Funny thing though, thats what my daughter said when she came out to see the progress. What is it with today's youth...geez !!

What have you done to your square lately??

Thanks...I ended up using self tapping screws to attach the fendewels to the firewall, and radiator support. 6 screws per side in strategic locations. I also bent the fenderwells 90 degrees to overlap the seam on the radiator support to secure it some more. They aint movin.......or flexing...and...

    Leaf Spring Bushings

Polyurethane bushing are far superior to the crappy oem rubber. You will only replace the bushings once. Now, I replaced all of my front end bushings with the red....squeaks....NO. I have not had any issues with the Energy Suspension red squeaking. I will soon be replacing my body mount...

What have you done to your square lately??

Sounds like I will be keeping the panels one piece. I kinda want to cut in a steel mesh "window", above the battery. The steel mesh wil break up the look of the flat panel, but will ,still conceal the battery so it looks similar to what is in the bed. This is what I did when I built the...

What have you done to your square lately??

My last build had the battery alongside the passenger frame rail. We had to jumpstart the truck...bags deflated...absolutely no way to access the battery. If I were to ever relocate the batery, it would either be concealed in the bed (when the bed floor is moved up for a bodydrop) or under the...

What have you done to your square lately??

I have used them for the aluminum door panels on my rzr. They require a really stiif and secure Mounting surface for the mounting tab on the underside...aligning up the spring catch is a bitch. I thought of using dzeus fasteners, but I want something much smaller and kinda concealed too. I used...

    3" drop springs

X2 regarldless of a 2 inch or three inch spring installed or cutting a coil, the geometry changes and a front end alignment is needed. I always preferred a 2 inch sping paired withna 2 inch spindle for a static drop. If you install drop spindles...they DO NOT change the alignment, only the...

What have you done to your square lately??

I have a few of those magnetic trays..... I should probably start using them more often.

What have you done to your square lately??

Yep...my thoughts exactly. Batteries are ugly and I like the idea of keeping it covered. I'm thinking a maximum of 6 fasteners is all that is needed to secure the fenderwells. I will start on the brakets tomorrow am. So far as designed, the fenderwells are very easy to remove.

What have you done to your square lately??

Or...I could magnetize the fenderwells and never lose those 5/16" sockets or grill mounting screws ever again !!

What have you done to your square lately??

Tack welded up the new fenderwells this afternoon. Now I just need to build mounting brackets and secure them. I kept the templates in case I need to make another set. I still need to make the access panel for the battery, but who knows, maybe I will leave it as is to conceal...

Stores Don't Sell Speedo Cable Lube Anymore - Now What?

Pb Blaster makes a dry spray lube. It work wonders on my shop tools and doesn't collect sawdust like others. It also works wonders on garage doors and tracks
