    f u have 350 with good bottom, why not just put 305 heads on it? simple and shud not be a headache, as stock 350's had 76cc chambers in emissions era which as far as I know is largest factory chamber made. any sbc intake, exhaust shud bolt up without any major problems for accessories brackets...

The only way i know to tell is use a straight edge across bellhousing mt surface n rear side of engine mts measure distance , f numbers match good to go, if not a diff location set of holes...

    pickup is in town, i'll go by there and grab it. everything i saw was in tolerances, bushes looked brand new last time i checked, 10 yrs ago. this is why i changed all parts, nothing left to chance. steering wheel back to center each way. pitman arm wrong length maybe? not tires, its been doing...

    good job, side play in valves tough fix without pulling heads, tube shims i dont mess with, knurl stems, shim guides, new valves,much more than that, pick heads you really want 1.98 In 76cc or less chambers ,port yourself. 50 to 75 ponies w/right cam....thats a rarity leak from intake,any idea...

    air pressure test first to see valves are seating properly, a leak down test all cyl. before changing both seals, and check valve side play at full open n 50% open, to slopy n seals wont help, be prepared to get new cat. longterm oil exposure with plug up cat in few months

    hope you got oil up top, my first thot was collapsed lifters, doubtful all are, possibly few, they work hydraulically if collapsed oil wont pump in lifter thru rod to rocker, readustment valves will be necessary and treat as solid lifters with lil clearance n not at .050 lift measurement...
