Not trying to stir up s_ _t but if computer chips are the scourge of our lives why does everyone on this forum Cary around a chip filled cell phone?? Don't forget about your big screen TV. I would try replacing the cap. You will have to find a local electrical supply the sales to the public. Take it with you and they can help identify it. They are not that expensive. Take picks of the wires before you take it apart.- Terry Wilkerson

Well you know it's a motor problem if it tripped with the belt off. Is the motor hard to turn with the belt off. Should spin freely.- Terry Wilkerson

How to send power to window switch for testing?
Try silicone spray first. Helped a lot on mine. Just spray the channels with the window down. If the door panel is off you can also spray the bottom of the channel.- Terry Wilkerson
